In late July I whitened my teeth professionally for the first time. The whole process was throughly explained. I didn't want to have Sensitive teeth for an upcoming vacation but wanted whiter teeth. My teeth were never sensitive. Before and after care was provided and I couldn't be happier with my results.

Accelerate your Smile Transformation with Blue LED light Technology
The higher energy of the Blue LED light technology helps the gel penetrate deeper into the enamel and dentin to break down tough, intrinsic stains that other methods might miss. We finely calibrated the Blue LED light to supercharge the gel's active ingrediants, helping them break down and remove deep-seated stains more quickly and effectively than gel alone. There are No known reported negative side effects. Blue LED lights get extremely hot without get getting hot to the touch. "Cold light" which means it can not burn soft tissues, such as the gingivia.
Rapid results may apply.
Extrinsic, and Intrinsic stain removal
How the gel works. The bleach needs to reach the dentin. Teeth are made up of 4 layers. The Enamel, Dentin, Cementum and Pulp chamber. The best way to ensure a "bleaching" is through applying a reactive oxygen free-radical. Best substance is Hydrogen perxoide (HP) or Caramide peroxide (CP). Hydrogen Peroxide contains Reactive Oxygen free-Radicals. When using the gel and the Blue LED light. Oxygen Free-Radicals live for a fraction of a second but in that moment they look to oxidize(React) stains on the dentin layer of the tooth. Hydrogen Peroxide breaksdown on enamel surface and enters the Dentin and then bleaching the stain molecules. Which then causes the darken stained to lighten or hence become "Bleached"
